Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Remote Private Tutor to teach the Advocacy module of the LPC course. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional looking to make a difference in the lives of LPC students by providing personalised instruction tailored to their needs.

Tuition Topics

As a Remote Private Tutor for the Advocacy module, you will be responsible for teaching a wide range of topics within the module. These areas include:
  1. Understanding the role and responsibilities of an advocate.
  2. Developing strong oral communication and presentation skills.
  3. Preparing and delivering persuasive legal arguments.
  4. Effective examination-in-chief and cross-examination techniques.
  5. Understanding court procedures and etiquette.
  6. Addressing ethical and professional conduct issues in advocacy.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Provide private, one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in the Advocacy module of the LPC course.
  2. Develop and implement customised lesson plans based on individual student needs and learning objectives.
  3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their goals.
  4. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
  5. Collaborate with the Brigitte’s LPC team to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Completed the LPC and possess a strong understanding of the Advocacy module.
  2. Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring in a legal education setting.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  5. Proficient in using online collaboration tools and video conferencing software.
